Launched in Spring 2009, OVERFLOW is a quarterly magazine geared toward the overeducated and the underutilized.  Our readership is comprised of young adults who strive to break away from the stagnant ennui of extended adolescence, which New York City tends to perpetuate.  South Brooklyn focused, OVERFLOW serves our readers by wading through the endless supply of stimulus available in our great city in order to find the best, brightest, and most progressive opportunities, activities, and diversions.

Our readers are interested in fashion, nightlife, real estate, and other trappings of modern urban life, but they do not seek cultural validation from any outdated or oversaturated institutions. They use their education, experiences, and intuition to contribute their artistic, culinary, and political interests to furthering the growth of their communities.

OVERFLOW publishes a range of articles written not only by professional journalists, but also by talented writers who are practitioners within the area of inquiry.  Reviews, profiles, and features are celebrations of neighborhood curiosities, things we genuinely love and wish to share, as well as fair and critical reviews of the numerous services and amusements abundant in our landscape.

OVERFLOW is a free publication, distributed at no cost to readers throughout South Brooklyn.
